Custom Commissioned Classic Car Builds

Bespoke designs & builds
Classic cars are our passion, but while some companies only want to restore classics to their former glory, we want to modernise, adapt and innovate classic designs to be more reliable and suitable for the modern driver’s needs.
We love all things Porsche and all things personalised. There’s no better feeling than cruising along in a classic sportscar that is completely unique. Knowing you have something that many people want, but no one else has is a special feeling indeed and we want our clients to feel that too.
We pride ourselves in renovating classic cars not only to their former glory, but to fulfil their contemporary potential as a modern luxury vehicle with style and flare like no other.

“Our goal was to reinterpret the iconic Porsche 356 Speedster with modern technology and styling, but never let it lose its original character”

Anything is possible
Elite Innovation Classics was born out of a need for something we couldn’t find anywhere else and finally realising that building it ourselves was the only way to make it perfect.
Thrilled to be the owner of a replica speedster, but dissatisfied with some elements of it, we got to searching for the perfect Porsche that was modern, reliable whilst still having that classic Porsche feel. It took years of scouring the world for exactly what we wanted before we finally had to admit that it didn’t exist, we decided to make it instead. If you want a job done right, after all, sometimes you have to do it yourself.
Step Inside

PART 1
After nearly two years of R&D, we believe we have got it correct. Our Porsche Boxster Speedster creating has been a fantastic journey, from early days driving and breaking down in our 356, to reality. We set out with all the things we wanted from the 356, mostly the iconic styling, then what it didn’t have, well that list grew pretty quick.
PART 2
So, we have the looks, now the Donor which of course just had to be a Porsche, low and behold we decided on the 986 Boxster 3.2S, probably because we had one at hand. The car had everything we wanted, power, performance, reliability (proven over the last 20+ years, Porsche’s saviour, a story for another day…), comfort, heating, power, roof, seats, p.a.s just to name a few.
PART 3
With the two cars alongside, we could see that creating grandad’s 73-year-old body design for the Boxster without compromising the Boxster’s structural integrity, was to be a real challenge, but. Possible, let the fun begin!
The Boxster had a front overhang of 1400mm, way too much. The flared rear wings were discreet, using the air intakes to disguise this. The rear lamp housings were much too high. At this point the Boxster was dismantled and attached to the Globaljig. The body was then designed.
PART 4
Wood, steel, clay building foam and glass fibred were used in the basic construction of the shapes, and then copious amount of body filler went in, to blend and smooth all the numerous products.
When we were finally happy with the design, we commissioned a Mold Laminator. They produced the plug and parts. Obviously, the prototype parts needed changes as we were constantly improving the design and fitment.
PART 5
We made subtle changes to the metal work of the Boxster to allow the new styled panels to correctly align. More modifications were made to the prototype panels, and then they were returned to the Laminator to produce our final plugs.
Our panels were then produced from a Hybrid Kevlar Composite. All the metalwork fabrication had been carried out, so we moved to Cooling, and with the aid of a specialist, we designed three new radiators, slightly larger with high flow bores, they worked perfectly with no heat issues.
PART 6
We then moved onto the Cold Air intake because our body design did not include vents in the fenders. We overcame this problem with a force-air technology through the rockers and into the wheelhouse void behind the panels.
PART 7
We designed a chamber to replace the OE assembly. Once again, we used the services of our Laminator to produce the chambers in Carbon Fibre. We then commissioned a leading Performance Filter company to produce the air filter.
The complete assembly was installed and worked perfectly, our car could breathe so well.
PART 8
The newly created KRP hybrid panels were installed to our Boxster using OE fasteners and specialist adhesive technology, as used by leading manufacturers of sports and luxury vehicles. The prototype was painted in a colour to match Jay’s original 356, a family pair.
The car was then built up with all new remanufactured components to match the original 356 and create the Porsche Boxster Speedster. The car with everything.
